Noodles

I've been noodling this for far too long. It actually dates back a month or two, but I kept forgetting to check the values on a few different computers. *shrugs* Finished it just the other day.

Anyhow, don't really hate winter any more. I'd almost miss it if I didn't love spring and summer. I really think the seasons should change more often though, once a month or something.

Going to write up a bit of a walk through on this one for an upcoming publication, stay tuned :)

Oh and if you weren't aware of my other blog; sketchpadofdoom.blogspot.com I've been updating there too!

  4. Looks really really amazing, I dont suppose you have a higher res one kicking around at all? Say 1280x1024? :D

I never have a problem with your contrasts or use of darks? I often paint dark - to the extent that my friend with an old CRT cant see half of the details in my images D:

    Deliver moreeee~

  14. Hey Thomas,

I really like your paintings! Like everyone else says, the colors are incredible and vivid and I love the form language you use too, especially in the way you paint rocks and tree trunks.

    Can't wait to see more

  20. for sure man, sorry I missed you at the workshop. Perhaps the next time around!

I agree about the seasons, there should be maybe five or sixteen. Just to throw out an idea, maybe inbetween fall and winter we could have a season dedicated solely to ICE-CREAM. That would be a tasty few months, then places like Ben&Jerry's could be sponsored by mother nature.

    sick painting btw
